“Kate Gallaher is an amazing person amd knows dogs better than anyone I've ever met. I've trusted her to watch my dog Champ on several occasions and the only problem I've had is he doesn't want to leave. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a trustworthy and loving place for their pet.“

Harbor Hounds Pet Boarding Training

“When I moved to East Boston mid 2021 it has been a couple of years since my little guy had been to a structured daycare. By that point there had been a lot of changes in life, personal and work, on top of spending 24/7 by my side the past 2 years. When I mentioned this to a close friend he had nothing but amazing things to say about Harbor Hounds. The amazing difference he saw in his timid pup with her confidence was night and day. While my little dude is anything but timid, his anxiety (seperation and otherwise) was at an all time high.My dog has been at Harbor Hounds for 2 years now and cannot say enough great things. Sarah, Lindsey and the rest of the employees there are beyond kind and caring. No matter the day, every time I drop him off his tail is always wagging. They let Yuki be Yuki all while helping him improve and learn along the way. It's made a huge difference in both his and my life.“

The Happy K-9 Training & Rehabilitation Pet Boarding Training

“My dog Maeve attended a four week board and train with Nelson and his team. To start, Nelson had an extensive initial meeting with us to talk over who Maeve was and what her challenges were. She was extremely anxious in all areas of life and making it harder for me to invite people to my house or enjoy the world. During the program, he kept us regularly updated on her progress. After the program, he and his team met with me and taught me all the boundaries they put in place and how to interact and rebuild my relationship with my girl. I’m happy to report today that Maeve is thriving, trying new things, building confidence and is the happiest angel. We work on our training and have built our relationship to what it is, but it would have never been possible without Nelson and his team changing my little lady’s life. I am beyond grateful for them!“

“We have used K9 Academy New England for both of our dogs. Matt has worked with them at different stages individually and collectively. He always goes above and beyond to answer questions and he genuinely cares about his craft. I have recommended him to many people and the consensus is the same, HE IS THE BEST. These services are worth every penny, as our dogs are well behaved and we are informed and responsible dog owners, all due to Matt!“

Dogwood Cottage Pet Boarding Training

“There are no words to truly show how much Dogwood Cottage has meant to us and to our dog, Leo, since we started going in 2021. We had tried a different place before, which made Leo nervous around dogs and humans. When we went to Dogwood, Leo loved playing with the sweet group of dogs that come to daycare- he even has a few girlfriends there now! We love seeing the pictures/videos of him playing with his buddies on the Dogwood Cottage Instagram and seeing how happy he is every time he goes! The love, and attention, and patience that the staff shows Leo continues to be above and beyond— it has helped Leo come out of his shell with humans. I know that a large reason for this staff culture is due to the leadership of Dogwood’s manager, Carl James. Not only is Carl incredibly knowledgable about dogs and their behavior, but I have come to know Carl closely and feel that I can speak to his kindness, dedication, and selflessness. He deeply cares for the dogs that come to Dogwood as well as the satisfaction of their human owners. Carl is responsive, responsible, organized, thoughtful, and I will always completely trust Leo in him and his staff’s care. Carl consistently goes above and beyond. Any place that Carl is, is a place that is lucky to have him and a place that we trust 100%.“

“Had a great experience with Salome and my 1 year old Anatolian Shepard mix. Ember is a very anxious and guarded dog and not very food motivated. Salome had some great insight on how to make her more comfortable as well as other great tips to help train a dog with her temperament. Although Ember is pretty timid, she loved Salome and we were able to make some great progress. Along with that, Salome herself was very professional and made the experience enjoyable all around. I will definitely be coming back and I would recommend her to anyone!“

North Boston Dog Training Pet Boarding Training

“I am so thrilled I found North Boston Dog Training! Rhonda trained our very high energy Brittany with the two week board and train! I was very hesitant about the training because Navy has allergies and very sensitive skin (can’t use most training collars) but so glad we sent him. Rhonda listened to our concerns and designed the training around what worked for him. Within two weeks, he is so much better on a leash and is already off leash in our backyard. Before training, I’d literally be in tears during our walks but now I’m skipping and smiling. So thankful for Rhonda and North Boston Dog Training. Will be using them again for any future dog!“

“I found myself in a bad situation when my husband suddenly passed away. Our dogs were grieving, his dog was taking it particularly hard and already had anxiety issues but the team has been willing to work with them and figure out how to best manage his boys issues. I know we aren't the easiest case and it's so wonderful to find the help we need to get through this period.“

“My poor Susie needed to have two teeth extracted, it wasn’t easy going through with the procedure and it was really an unexpected cost. However, the staff were extremely attentive and the doctor was honest and caring. I have also noticed a huge improvement in Susie’s mood since getting the bad teeth out. Thanks for taking care of my Susie girl“

Elliot's House LLC - HQ 1 Pet Boarding Training

“My little guy gets so excited as we get close to Elliot's House; he can never wait to start playing with all his pup friends (and make new ones). I've been trying to get him here at least once a week, but may bump it up to two now that the weather is getting colder and the days darker. When I pick him up he's usually really amped from all the playtime, but after dinner quickly settles and chills with my husband and I on the couch - a tall order, as he is firmly in his angsty teen puppy phase. Weird aside, but I recently reached out to customer service to see if they've been cleaning him or spraying him with something before I pick him up, because he usually comes home smelling surprisingly fresh - I was told that nope, it's just the clean environment! All in all, this place is a great spot for your pup to get their socialization in and wind-up-toy energy out. I love that they know my guy by name (even if he's one of, like, seven Cooper's who visits), and I adore how happy he is to walk through the door each visit. Nice local spot filled with people who really care about their furry clients.“
