In 2019, we began fostering our 5yo nephew, who had severe behavioral issues stemming from trauma and ADHD. He needed an outlet, and Tim played an important role in helping to channel his energy and big feelings in a healthy and responsible way. Now, almost 7 years later, and after adoption, he has transformed into a completely different person. His self-confidence and leadership skills are a direct result of the lessons he has learned while progressing through the ranks and beginning junior instructor training. Additionally, we recently enrolled his 4yo brother in Tiny Typhoons, so we are thrilled to introduce him to the world of karate as well.“

I don’t know if I would like taekwondo if Mr.so were not there. I don’t know if I would be excited to go to taekwondo with out Mr.so being there. You spend all your day doing other stuff and show up to taekwondo and teach us. You make sure the place is all clean and we don’t step on spit.
