We purchased our flooring through Lumber Liquidators (would not recommend). This means the quality of the wood is "contractor grade" (which we did not know when purchasing). Contractor grade flooring has MANY inconsistencies in tone and quality as compared to their website pictures. John and his team have the seasoned experience to know exactly how to manage these kinds of challenges so that the flooring lays out beautifully. A few years ago, we used Doyle Wood Floors to replace carpet in three rooms with beautifully finished maple floors. This summer, it was time to replace the carpet in our living/dining room, and once again, we called on Jeff Doyle. This time, we chose prefinished five-inch white oak and are incredibly pleased with the outcome.

Working with Jeff to make our selection and arrange all the details was a pleasure. The Saturday crew managed to remove all the carpet and prepare the underlayment in just a few hours, hauling away all the debris. Rich, our installer, demonstrated his experience and expertise, completing the job in just two days.

Altogether it was a very satisfying process and we couldn't be happier with the results. We wholeheartedly recommend Doyle Wood Floors.
