“I just had my daughter at the cha in Cambridge on the 6th and I must say the staff was amazing. Not only were the nurses so kind and respectful but I truly felt like myself and my daughters care was top priority with everyone I interacted with. The labor and delivery nurse Kim was literally a god sent with my anxiety issues. I felt so supported. After the delivery my nurse sammi was so supportive . I got so lucky to have such an amazing birthing experience. If I could give ten stars I would !“

“On my first visit last month with Dr Wong I knew I was in competent hands. She asked questions and truly listened to me for an hour! She ordered numerous tests and upon results being discussed this week presented more solutions to help with areas of concern. I highly recommend Five Journeys if you are looking for professionalism and efficiency in Primary Care.“

“Love how attentive the staff is and I am a patient of Dr Herron and Narine and I love them both. It's very central to work and I have been going here for over 4 years. Can't complain.“

“We have been to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital emergency room twice. Both times surprised at the attention to service from the check in to the doctor care. Both times walking in to an intimidating mass of humanity in the waiting room expecting endless hours of 'wait' and yet both times surprised to hear our name within 15 to 20 minutes. Then the routine room # for preliminary review then to be moved exam room # to wait for a doctor another 15 - 20 minutes. My name is Dr. Tonight shows within 5 - 15 minutes. Performs exploratory, diagnoses the issue and sets about to solve the problem. Very clearly informing us of the procedure, medications and time frame, we're there for another 15 - 20 minutes. If there's a delay - drugs needed from the pharmacy et al, you're well informed. Don't watch the clock. You're in the ER. Then once underway, there's the 10 -15 wait to see if the drug or procedure settles correctly. At one point, we were offered a sandwich if we were hungry! Then, the 'after care' conversation and have a good night. This is the way professionals perform. And professionals they are at - doing their job 24/7.“

“I had a traumatic first birth (in labor 4 days then emergency c section) with Brigham and Women Pembroke. The surgeon (now retired) was more proud of their incision than my well being. It was the midwives through crown/south shore that kept my sanity through the ordeal.

This is why I came to crown for my second pregnancy. All the providers are great to speak with and just approachable to any concern. I came knowing I wanted a planned c-section.

There are a few minor draw backs from logistical level. One is appointment changes, the location and time can change. I lived in Scituate and often had to go to Quincy because Pembroke could not complete blood draws. Also, all lab work is sent out and ultrasounds are subcontracted out. Had I not checked on the billing I could have been subject to large costs (had to go through south shore hospital vs the subcontractor in their building for all ultrasounds).

With that said, in the big scheme of things I literally trust these providers with my life. A little in convenience for 9 months is a blink in life and for an amazing birth experience it was worth it trust me.

Dr. Homa was so empathetic to my concerns and PTSD from first birth, He and team ensured I was comfortable and had bonding opportunities with baby. The actual incision healed so well, I was up and moving within a week vs a month with first birth.

As with any medical provider you must advocate for any concerns but they were absolutely attentive to any concern I communicated,

I was able to have a redeeming birth experience for my second and last birth and will be forever grateful for the closure on that chapter of my life.“
