I was on tour with my band and left my contacts at home. Steve helped me out when none of the other places I called would. You see, glasses fall off of my face when I'm playing. Absolutely 5 stars for Eye Q.

I was looking for any Optometrist to give me an Eye Exam for renewing my Driver's License, so I picked Eye Q Optical because it also happened to be next to some of my favorite restaurants in Harvard Square.The day I walked in, I found the interior to be comfortable and neat, and didn't feel overwhelmed by an infinite amount of glasses stands & glasses when I recall my time as a child accompanying my parents or siblings to get their own prescriptions.The clerk, Mr. Blue (or Bleu? I have been one of Dr. Luria's patients since 2017 and having my vision checked is actually one of my favorite things to do because not only is Dr. Luria super knowledgable, he's also personable and gets to his patients. I *also* love selecting new frames - thanks to their awesome selection. I wear progressives and absolutely need eyeglasses to navigate the world. As a costume designer and creative entrepreneur, it's important to me that my frames reflect my artistic interests and learning about the craftsmanship of each pair of frames has really made me value them even more.
