We’ve known Ken since he was still at Tyler Street in Chinatown, Boston. It has been almost 30 years that we come to Ken’s salon for haircuts as well as perm for our Mother. Ken has been very consistent with his works. He is friendly and always gives us his honest opinions whenever we need. And, the service charges are very reasonable.😊

ken is the best hairdresser I've been to. the language barrier can be a challenge but if you make very clear what you want you will get an incredible hair cut. he takes such care and you can tell that he understands and is passionate about hair. even when I moved out of state, i continued to wait until my visits back get my hair cut. come with pictures of a reference hair cut if you don't speak cantonese/ mandarin.

I've been going to Ken for more than 10 years and no one has cut my hair as well. He's definitely a hidden gem, and is really skilled at his craft. He makes sure to take his time to perfect the cut, and takes in considerations like how easy your hair will be to style on a day to day basis. It's definitely useful to speak Chinese (preferable Cantonese), and one should make sure to give him really clear and specific instructions preferably with reference photos because he definitely has his own mental hairstyle images (really layered styles popular in China). Would highly recommend if you have a clear image of the haircut you want.
