“I had my hair and make up done at ZenaRose for my bachelorette party. The salon is tucked away in Beacon Hill and offers many services. I absolutely loved my hair and make up done by Anastasia. She did a fantastic job listening to what I wanted and making my vision come to life. I deducted one star because my appointment was for Event/Glam Photoshoot Make Up and Dyson Bouncy Curl Blow Out, but I didn't end up getting a blow out. She styled my hair with a flat iron but I was still charged for a bouncy curl blow out which I didn't feel was the same value. Other than that, I was very happy with my experience.“

I had an absolutely amazing time with Edra at her beautiful location in Sharon, MA. She did both my hair and makeup trial, and from the moment I walked in, I felt completely at ease and excited. Edra was not only professional, but also incredibly sweet, thoughtful, and so collaborative throughout the whole process.

We worked together on both my hair and makeup looks, and I truly appreciated how she listened to my ideas while also bringing her expert vision to life. The final look turned out even better than I had imagined — it completely exceeded my expectations! Edra took the time to walk me through every step she was doing and even shared helpful tips on how to care for my hair after removing the updo, which I really appreciated.

She made me feel so special during the trial, and now I absolutely can’t wait to work with her and her team on my wedding day. If you’re looking for someone who is talented, kind, and genuinely invested in making you feel your best, I cannot recommend Edra enough!“

“This is my first Google review I’ve left and it’s because Jenny at Pure Hair is that phenomenal! I have tricky curly hair (3B but with different textures) and have always been afraid of getting it cut but she made it look so beautiful and healthy! Best haircut of my life! I’ve never gotten so many compliments and her amazing styling lasted for days (And I’ve tried Ouidad, Devachan when there was a salon etc) dry cut for curly hair is a must! She’s also incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and thorough and it was a wonderful experience. Will 10000p be going back“

“When going to Peaches it was very straightforward which I appreciate immensely. I was quickly treated for a wash, conditioner, scalp treatment, and silk press.

The atmosphere was very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The people and the owner (Peaches herself) were both hilarious and clearly professional in the way they carried themselves, presented, and their clear levels of expertise. My hair was silky smooth, moisturized, and even my curls lasted in the 90 degree weather when leaving.

“Andrew has been an absolute superstar! I'm often looking to completely change my hairstyle and he's met those requests with excitement instead of apprehension. He's also done a great job with both hair transitions he's worked on with me! To be honest I can't afford his haircuts but I keep going to him because he's the only person in the city that I trust with non-standard hairstyles across the gender spectrum.

Edit: My last couple haircuts have been quite disappointing. I tried to convince myself the haircuts were okay. But the lines in my hair were uneven both times and I asked for layers both times and he cut my hair all to the same length both times. Since he didn't give me layers the first time, I asked him to cut my hair short if he needed to for layers the second time around. This time again he cut my hair all to one length, but this time shorter. I would trust him completely with masculine hairstyles but I don't think I'm ever going back for a hairstyle with any femme components. The last couple appointments also felt more rushed and like he didn't have the time or energy to spend on the haircut and just wanted it out of the way, so all in all, I'm probably on the lookout for a new hairstylist.. :(“

“I have been searching high and low to find a stylist specifically for my pixie cut. I stumbled across this salon online and decided to check out their website. I booked my appointment a week in advance with ease. The day of my appointment I was running late but they were really nice and did not make a fuss of it. I had the pleasure of having Malik style my pixie. I didn't have to wait more than 5-10 minutes to sit in his chair. He briefly examined the condition of my hair and asked me of my expectations. He was really hilarious. He had me laughing throughout my service. The atmosphere almost feels like you're sitting in your auntie's living room listening to gossip and good music. I normally wear my pixie for a few days before changing into braids or a wig but it's been over 2 weeks and I'm still wearing it. It seems to get better and better as the days go on. I feel so confident and sexy. I thought that this would be a one time thing as I was getting my hair done for vacation but I will definitely go back to Malik over and over again.“

Anthony let me know how to improve my product application process and that has really been a game changer. Also let's talk about the cut - he shaped my hair better than anyone ever has! I don't think I've ever received so many compliments on a haircut, and I work at an architecture and design firm so my coworkers have an eye. Also, Anthony is super funny, sassy, and personable.
