Let me just say: I had become embarrassed with the state of my hair but also realized that I needed professional help to assist me in my hair journey. Being in school, then the pandemic, and then the stress of starting a new healthcare job in the midst of covid-19 resulted in me ignoring/avoiding what a mess my hair had become. To top it all off I'd had relaxed hair for 20 years, went natural in 2019, and wasn't exactly sure what to do with my newly natural hair on a day-to-day basis.
