“Sidney and his team are extraordinary.First, Sidney is responsive. That is rare is his business. But Sidney doesn’t play games. I called him and he came right over, looked at the work (repairs to a finished basement room after a flood) and he gave me a price in a very reasonable few days. And the price included ALL the work I wanted done. That never happens. Everyone else I called either ghosted me, gave me a ridiculous price or gave me a ridiculous price AND left half the work I wanted done off the proposal. Sidney was excellent. “We've hired several contractors over the years for a variety of projects and Colin is hands down the most knowledgeable, talented and easy to work with. We hired Colin and his team to section off part of our already finished basement to build a wine cellar. This included removing the existing walls/ceiling, framing, insulating, putting up new wall, plastering, tiling and installing a door and climate control system. Colin is very professional and tech savy. After coming to our home to discuss the project, he typed up a detailed quote/contract including a timeline with estimated dates of completion for various tasks. He was in constant communication throughout the project via phone, text and email (whether it be about arrival times, project related decisions or summarizing the status). We were impressed by his and his subcontractors quality of work and friendliness. He is detail oriented and cares about how the job looks. For example, to save money, we told him that we would do the painting. However, as the project progressed, he wanted to make sure the caulking on the baseboard looked right, so he primed the entire room at no extra cost. He is also just a caring person. While he and his plumber were working in our mechanical room, they noticed a major issue with our furnace which was potentially releasing carbon monoxide into our home. He and his plumber addressed the issue, even going as far as calling the manufacturer of furnace to confirm the proper set-up. Before leaving for the day, he also ran to Home Depot, purchased and installed a carbon monoxide detector in that room so that we would have piece of mind. He truly went above and beyond and we are very grateful. We have already started working with Colin on another project and look forward to hiring him in the years to come.“

Scheduling took a few days but if you're flexible on timing then this is a great option. I told him all the things I wanted to have done (railing installation, downspout extender installation, mailbox hanging, deck stairs replacement, etc.) and like magic they made it happen. Don's people figure out how to repair the damage where others felt we needed a complete replacement (it made the job significantly smaller and less expensive). “I couldn’t have had a better experience with Andre. His work is simply masterful. I had a nightmare of a flooring job done by someone else who marred my floors, left them with countless chatter and waves, and looked like he applied the polyurethane with his eyes closed. It was a disaster. I called Andre and asked him if he’d be willing to give me a consult. He readily agreed and even came out to my home on a Sunday! Andre provided expert consultation, was friendly and sympathetic, and incredibly kind. He learned that I was sleeping on my porch because of the unfinished floors, and so he squeezed me in his busy schedule to help me get back into my house and off my porch as soon as possible.Andre stayed in contact with me throughout the job and provided his expert opinion as to staining choices to match my home’s other woodwork, how to restore my stairs, banister, and post, and various other recommendations. He did a FANTASTIC job on my 1910 antique fir floors, yellow pine stairs, and hardwood banister and post. Andre took a complete train wreck and turned it into beautiful artwork. I’ve never seen floors and stairs as pretty as these. The stairs….unbelievably beautiful beyond description. Andre refinished every spot and place including under and around several radiators and very difficult to reach areas.It’s worth noting that my floors are original and early 1900s, so the wood is very thin (especially after the first guy sanded them way down). Andre, however, treated my floors like a skilled surgeon would treat a patient and was able to preserve my original wood without the need to replace anything.I give Andre the highest recommendation possible. He is professional, responsive, skilled, and has a wonderful personality. If you need work done to your floors, do yourself a favor and hire Andre.**it’s also worth noting he has a very good rate; although, I would have paid anything to save my floors, and Andre did that for me. “The deck looks great and we have had it for a few months now and it still looks great. The crew building the deck was discrete and friendly. The experience was good. The only problem we had is that they changed project manager a couple times during the project which has causes some issues and some errors in the schematics, but it was resolved to our expectations. We just had to talk to the owner (who is not much available to talk to customers) to finally get this resolved. I recommend them anyway, they did some good work.“
