“I have been going to Mermaid Hair for the past few years. It’s a quaint little place located in Beverly. They are known for their vibrant colors. Chloe is my stylist and she is extremely talented and knowledgeable about techniques, vibrant colors, and making sure that she understands exactly what the client is requesting. She pays attention to the details and will even be as transparent and honest to say that what the client wants may not be the best for their hair type
and comes up with a workaround solution. Consistency is so important when getting your hair colored and Chloe nails it every single time. I went from being a blonde to this beautiful copper color. Any color or copper/red is so hard to maintain and single time I leave the salon I feel like a new person with soft, shiny and vibrant hair. The prices are very fair for the service that is rendered. “I10/29/25 as I post this regretfully, my impression of Rachel has changed 180 degrees. I was referred by a former coworker. I bought a $500 package for hair service ( dyes, cuts, any extras I paid ). So this year around end of April I treated myself to my first Keratin treatment. $350.00. Event coming up. OK , followed her directions, in the past few months my hair has been falling out in clumps. I had a super thick head of hair, now it is half as much. I wondered what the chemicals where in the Keratin treatment to give to my dermatologist I saw today. I texted her friendly, and no response. I just wanted to talk and she isn't the same friendly person she acted like. I never accused her, I just wanted feedback. Other salons talked to me from across the counter and answered my few questions. They could see my painful face. Not Rachel. Boooo Rachel. I thought you were good. You seem fake. Hope you get some more inheritance jewelery tags marked with your name by your ritzy old clients. You know who I mean.“

“I’ve been seeing Bethany for nearly ten years now and she is definitely the best. I usually stay about two years with a hair stylist and then move on when they start phoning it in. But Bethany’s always ready for a new style or challenge. The salon is beautiful and so welcoming, right down to the warm blankets they put over you while your hair is being washed. And with beautiful hair and lots of laughs while I get it, I always feel good when I leave the salon.“

“Danielle did an incredible job for my wedding day hair and bridal party hair! She did my hair for prom years ago and I knew I wanted her for my wedding day. She is so creative and even incorporated my last minute request to include my grandmother's antique broach in the hairstyle which made the look even more special and meaningful to me. My grandmother was beaming. My hair stayed all night, even after a lot of dancing. Not only was she my hair stylist, but she provided so much comfort and ease, putting me in the best possible mindset as I prepared to get married. I am so grateful for Danielle!“
