Ever since I have embarked on the curly hair journey, I have found that there are so few curly hair stylists in and around Boston who can truly work wonders with curly hair. I finally went for a haircut after 2 year break, and was really nervous. But Helaine assured me she knew what she was doing made me feel very comfortable. So much so that I actually went ahead and got highlights on my virgin hair. She was careful not to overwhelm me. But she gave me the option of coming back in a week to get more bold with the colour and I did go back. She happily accommodated me and I love the final look. She was warm and friendly from the get go, and really engaging throughout the appointment. I loved getting to know her and having chitchat. My hair treatment was a bright balayage and it looks great. Perfect all around. We talked through gloss options and ultimately agreed that what she knew was best as the professional and she was right! I even had my 3 month old baby attend the appointment and Clare was great with her. Allowing me to breastfeed on demand and keep her close when she needed fun/comfort. “We found Jenny Luu through a feature in Boston Magazine where she was listed as Boston's Best Wedding Makeup Artist! And boy, they were spot on! Jenny and her team are simply amazing! She is extremely professional, organized, and a master at her craft. There were 9 of us getting our hair and makeup done on my wedding day, and we were a little nervous not knowing much about her other artists on her team. We were pleasantly blown away with their talents as well. It was such a calm and enjoyable morning with these sweet talented women. I could not have been happier with both my hair and makeup. It was honestly exactly what I dreamed of and more! It was a soft glam look that made me feel extremely beautiful without looking overdone. I was glowing!!
