“The Barile Family Funeral home made my Nonni and Nonno's wakes and funerals as perfect as can be. They were so kind and great to work with during the whole process. They had little packs of tissues available for guests during both days. They got everything over to us so quickly from prayer cards and slideshow right to the thank you cards. They moved all the flowers from the funeral home to the front of my grandparent's house for when we did our drive by since we couldn't bring flowers to the cemetery. They had so much compassion while also being so professional at the same time and made sure to let us know what to do each step of the process. The way they customized the slideshow came out to be everything we imagined with the songs & pictures. When looking for a funeral home its obviously during a terrible time in your life. When my wife and I lost our son we didn’t know where to even start. After looking to a few different funeral homes we found Bell o dea funeral home and after briefly taking with them we knew we found the best. Everyone we talked with was very friendly and understanding and especially John who I mostly dealt with throughout the process, he treated us as if we were his actual family. I truly feel blessed that he was there to help us through this time. The love and compassion he had for our family during our loss was just amazing. Without going into specifics he went above and beyond to help us. Anytime something came up he was on the phone and handled every issue big or small. “When my Mother passed in late June, we were all in shock. Peter and Donna were very calming and really cared as we went through all of the preparations for her services. The entire funeral home has a calming feel to it. As my family went through and chose the type of service we wanted, Peter was very helpful with suggestions that made everything special, from helping us to choose a casket with beautiful embellishments, a florist, funeral memorial cards, customized thank you cards for the visitors...basically everything. My 88 year old Dad was with us the whole time and had lots of questions. Peter gave us as much time as we needed to make sure we understood everything. Peter was extremely helpful, even contacting and arranging transportation for our Church's retired Pastor to attend and conduct the services. My Mother looked absolutely beautiful, and the dress and jewelry we chose for her was perfectly placed. There were no glitches at all, everything went as smoothly and peacefully as possible. “My family wanted to do an obituary for my Mother who passed away at 102. She was a Wellesley resident for 66 years. My parents donated their body to science, and years ago arranged through another entity to take care of it. They did not respond at all and never returned my phone calls. After not having any hope of doing this, I called George Doherty in Wellesley, and immediately without hesitation, Eddie Doherty took care of it.
