Both of my grandmothers ended up at this facility within the last year. My family was blown away by the attentiveness and genuineness of all the staff. From the doctors and nurses to the environmental service workers and more, everyone showed them the utmost generosity. Thank you for taking care of my family.
After having a heart attack without a medical explanation I met Dr Albert Krause at CHRISTUS Highland. What I love the most about his professional and personal concern is he wouldn’t let it go without an explanation in which he called a “Zebras” a medical terminology on the unexplained. A heart MRI was done and the problem was found. I had two holes in my heart…PFO and ASD. I was than turn over into the care of Dr Ray Smith (heart surgeon). Every doctor, nurse, aid, and housekeeping staff member that came into my room were absolutely wonderful. I would give them 10 stars if I could. The hospitality department gets a zero. They are horrible. I understand that I was on a restricted diet but every meal was the same. Vegetable broth and orange jello. My last day there I had to ask for a breakfast tray. I was discharged around 2:15 and still had not received a lunch tray. They really need to look into this.
