About The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans
The Ritz-Carlton offers a distinctive experience for its guests. The hotel's older section may lack a doorman, bellman, and well-maintained elevators, with grumpy staff and small, dark rooms. However, upgrading to higher-end sections, such as the Club Level, provides spacious rooms with views, 24-hour buffet, and snacks. The hotel boasts a perfect location near Canal Street, which borders the French Quarter known for its nightlife, balconies, and live music. Guests can enjoy an indoor pool and the hotel's festive holiday decorations. The staff, especially at the Club Level, are attentive, warm, and professional, making guests feel welcomed. The food offerings, including the famous benets with dark chocolate, vanilla, and caramel sauces, are highly praised, and the service at the bar is excellent. The rooms are clean and roomy with very comfortable beds, ensuring a restful stay. The gym facilities are impressive, with ample space and a variety of equipment. While some areas in the main lobby need upkeep, the overall experience, especially the exceptional service and amenities, makes the Ritz-Carlton a highly recommended place to stay despite the expense.
Went for drinks and to enjoy some live music. Classy place with great drinks by Frankie. All the staff were so friendly and really went out their way to make sure you are happy. Also enjoyed some great small plate meals. This is on my must go back again list for sure.
I was visiting for a conference and my room was a spacious and comfortable retreat between the sessions and events. The staff was welcoming and friendly, they even served a mini beignet by the courtyard which was a beautiful place to relax. We tried the hotel restaurant for breakfast and it was great.
Super close to the French quarter and the service at the hotel was spectacular. Exactly what you'd expect from a Ritz Carlton location.
