I've never gotten so many compliments on my hair as I have since Jo has been the one cutting it! I have waves, and she is great at bringing out my natural texture. She has shown me how to do some minimal styling before I let it dry on its own, which are the kind of tips I need as a wash-and-go girl. Jo listens to what I'm looking for and takes my (often vague) ideas and makes them into a cut I love!

I am rare reviewer of anything, but peeps may want to know my experiences going to Jo and what that may be like. When you go to Jo - you get special treatment and feel like the only person that matters. She will listen, work with you and as always, makes you feel seen. Jo makes something out of not much I have to work with, something special. But honestly, why I am actually reviewing is for those that may have some social anxiety, or personal discomfort for whatever reason. When I leave Jo’s I am relaxed and feel safe and seen. I don’t dread going to get my haircut if I am going to Jo. The opposite.

I had my hair cut and blown out by Jo today for the first time and she was wonderful. She listened to me and asked me questions about how I wanted my hair to look before she ever picked up the scissors. I felt so good when I left the salon because my hair looked and felt great. I would recommend her to anyone.
