I collect tattoos in cities I visit, so I was in NOLA for a work conference. Went to Electric Ladyland Tattoo and picked out a shrimp playing a trombone. Had a great experience with Walt!

Went with a friend last week because she wanted to get her first tattoo. The shop was clean and everyone was super friendly! The price was reasonable, too! Marc did a great job of putting my friend, who of course got nervous the moment that she paid! Lol! When she got so nervous that she wanted to change the design she originally requested, he patiently did variations until she decided to do the original one. When she sat down with him, he did a great job of walking her though the process, explaining everything that he was going to do before it happened, and the aftercare. In the end, she got the tatto that she wanted and a great experience and some laughs! A good time...read full review

While in NOLA I decided to get a cover up of a tattoo that was 20 years old and was lucky enough to get artist, Erica Flannes! I am a novice in the world of ink and she not only covered an all black, difficult to hide, outdated tattoo but she was able to do it with such delicate detail and interpreted exactly what I wanted into a beautiful work of art! She was absolutely amazing! The entire staff was great as well!Here's the before and after!
