Since October 2021, we have not had a washing machine, kitchen sink, or dish washer. Imagine that with a family of 4??!! Dealing with insurance, Two collapsed pipes under our slab, tunneling under our home (which was a lot of work and neat to see), 90 feet of plumbing pipes changed, we can once again use our kitchen and laundry room!! Once we got the approval from the insurance, Scott and his crew jumped in with ALL HANDS ON DECK!!! He knew how miserable we were, how many laundromat trips I made?, and how tired of eating out we were?! They completed this plumbing job in a week!!! Absolutely amazing service. Walking in i was very embarrassed and ashamed of my teeth. No one shamed me, they actually set a schedule up to fix what I thought was impossible. Mr Brian dove in head first and did what he does best. Fixed my broken front tooth and didn't refer me to someone else. He said, I'm your dentist, which told me, he was up for the challenge. I can say good things about everyone there, but i think if your in the same situation as myself, you really need to give them a call. Absolutely amazing dentist, and crew. Dr. Morgan runs his office like a well-oiled machine. My family of five gets their appointments together and we are in and out in roughly an hour. He takes the time to remember personal details about all of us even though he only (thankfully) sees us twice a year. It is apparent that he loves what he does. My girls actually enjoy going to the dentist!

At first I was very unhappy with the Affordable Dentures in Houma. I waited 3 hours for my appt and it was a cluster. I made the appt in my current name, which was my mistake. But the paperwork I filled out in my legal name which really caused confusion and no one bothered to ask or confirm. I have worked in a medical office for over 20 yrs and I would have automatically confirmed after seeing 2 names. When I saw the dentist for all of 5 minutes, he was very nice but very confused. No one apologized for my waiting 3 hours except for the cute and sweet blond girl who called us to the back initially. Then there was the confusion with my prescriptions. The dentist wanted me on an antibiotic for a certain period of time before he performed the extraction. They were supposed to call into my pharmacy which was on my paperwork and he verbally confirmed with me which one before I left. The RX’s were not called into. So I called Friday and the dr already left and had called into the wrong pharmacy. By Monday I was a bit angry. Especially when I called and explained the matter and the receptionist told me it would be after 5 because that’s how they do it. At this point, the receptionist should have gone above and beyond, but in this day and age, no one does anymore. Thankfully my pharmacy calls me a few hours later and said unfortunately it was under the wrong name!! I asked several times to make sure it was corrected in their charts! Needless to say that made me mad. I also asked if the dentist would prescribe me something for the pain (abscessed tooth) since I cannot take NSAID’s due to gastric bypass and Tylenol wasn’t working - the message I received was to ask my Pharmacist what I can take!!! What???? The pharmacist can’t prescribe anything. At this point I felt like my care was unimportant since I was just getting one extraction and not making them money like a full set of implants, or dentures. I had thought about going elsewhere but didn’t. When my appt came around they were on time, what they prescribed for my nerves worked, the dentist was good and has a good personality. They could work on their communication first and foremost and the receptionists need to learn how to treat each patient accordingly and sometimes go above and beyond for their clients. All in all I would rate my experience a 5 out of 10 and that is being kind. I understand being short handed. But waiting 3 hours for an appt, the confusion over something as simple as a last name, the RXs being called into the wrong pharmacy and none of being fixed for days in unacceptable.

I've been there 3 times now. Dr Jake preformed the wye strap on me today and... I wish I'd video taped it because that was.... no words. From .y next to my butt cracked and loud.. I felt like a new man. Dr Jake is so cool too. You can call and they will fit you in if your hurting. Pills kill. Dr Jake heals. And thats special to me. If you don't want an addiction.. and just want your neck and back to stop hurting. This is the place!!!

I would definitely recommend this place! From the kindness of the staff to the cleanliness of the facilities. All of the ladies there are cheerful and very helpful with all my questions. I actually showed up a little early and they took my furry kid (the one with four legs... had to narrow that down a little more) and was back in no time. I usually cringe when I get the bill, but they made me feel "not to bad" about paying it because of the great service.
