“Long story short...After months of having horrible shoulder pain I was diagnosed with calcific tendinitis. I have a pretty high tolerance for pain but this was definitely affecting my quality of life. I tried getting massages, new mattress, new office chair, medications and other ways to get rid of the pain. The orthopedic provider offered to do an injection per usual protocol but I opted to wait because I wanted to get to the bottom of what was causing the pain and not just masking the pain with an injection. Plus, I hate needles. Anyway, I ended up making an appointment for an injection again because I was in so much pain. I had my intial appointment with Dr. Van the morning of my appointment for my injection with the orthopedic. After speaking with Dr. Van I held off on the injection to see if he could help me first. I am so happy I did! In just a few weeks I am mostly pain free. He and his staff are so kind and welcoming. I hear people say chiropractic services are expensive and money grabs but he doesn't over charge you and actually takes time with you to listen. I have previously seen other chiropractors for a different problem and they charged me a ridiculous amount up front and didn't even explain why they were charging so much. Dr. Van comes up with a plan for you and performs the necessary actions to get you feeling better without adding unnecessary cost. If he feels the shock machine (not as bad as it sounds) will help you then do it!! It is a magical unicorn machine and has helped me tremendously! I would recommend him to everyone!”
