627 Baxter Ave, Louisville“Update: I am so grateful to have found this practice. Dr. Corbett and her team are phenomenal. My kitty and I love the calm atmosphere of the clinic and the open communication. I finally feel like I found a vet who is working to maintain relationships and provide long term care, opposed to a quick in/out visit with little follow-up. I was on the waitlist for a while before finally getting in and it was worth it! I’m so glad my 11yo chronically ill cat is in good hands.
First time: I had a lovely first experience. My cat was calm the entire time :) The clinic was quiet and the staff were great with handling my kitty. I felt like the staff really listened to what I was saying and made sure to clarify if needed. Dr. Corbett reviewed bloodwork results with me in detail. I’m looking forward to continuing care with her.“

2530 Frankfort Ave, Louisville“When I first moved to Louisville in 2023, nobody would see my dog because in the shuffle of moving, I had lost his rabies certificate. I had the collar chip and his full immunization and treatment record from his previous vet, but that wasn’t good enough. UVCC was the only vet that would accept those records and see him. They are a little pricier than our previous vet, but their service more than makes up for it. The vets will get right down in the floor with your pet to make them feel comfortable. So glad I found UVCC.“

They took their time to see why my dog was limping and offered great options. 3701 Hopewell Rd #500, Louisville“My family owns a wildlife management business called Animal Ridders. Yesterday a woman called us in a frantic State thinking we were an animal rescue. She was sobbing her eyes out telling us how no one would help her. She had a 15 month old pitbull that had swallowed a foreign object 8 days prior and was on the verge of death. She went to Jefferson Animal hospital and they charged her $250 for the examination would not even give her an x-ray and simply sent her home with nausea medicine and told her to force feed the animal. This is the worst thing you could do for something with an abdominal obstruction. The only other thing they offer to do for her was to euthanize it. Her and her husband share one vehicle and he works full-time. We got in my mother's personal car drove to Crestwood to her apartment and loaded her dog up. We stopped by VSP in Middletown first and though they were cordial they were not much help but they did recommend Hopewell Animal Hospital on Taylorsville rd. We arrived there 7 minutes before they closed. The main veterinarian came out and said why does that dog looks so sad. I explained that he had an abdominal obstruction that had been there for 8 days and about the experience with Jefferson Animal Hospital. The owner was so desperate to save the dog and told them that she would surrender the animal if it meant that he could get the care he needed. The veterinarian asked if he was good with children and other animals. The owner explained to her that he was a gentle baby without a mean bone in his body. The vet got down on her hands and knees in front of the dog and in as much pain as he was he started licking and kissing her face and she instantly decided right then that dog was not going to die today. He was x-rayed and they found a large extension cord in his intestines and he was on the operating table within 30 minutes of us arriving there. I am happy to say I called this morning and he survived the surgery and is doing very well. I cannot say enough good things about the compassionate staff at Hopewell Animal Hospital. They completely covered the cost on this multi-thousand dollar surgery. Other places quoted five to eight thousand dollars. They understand that sometimes you cannot just put a dollar figure on the life. I encourage anyone who is able and willing to please donate to this business. Their staff are heroes!“

“Dr Bennett and the Hearts Ease staff made the hardest time the most compassionate and sacred time helping Figaro cross the Rainbow Bridge. I cannot say enough about the loving care and kindness they give. I wish I’d had this way of letting my pets go over the years. I’ll never do it any other way now. It completed the journey and I felt at peace and so did Figaro. Thanks for the blessing that you all are.“

7311 Preston Hwy, Louisville“I love this place. The vet really listens to my concerns about medication side effects and is willing to work with me on holistic avenues of treatment. The staff is always very nice and the wait time is short. I don’t feel like they look at me and see dollar signs as soon as I walk in the door like a lot of other veterinarians around the area. They always treat me and my dog kindly and I never feel like they are trying to get rid of me or that they don’t want to listen to me.“
