Dr Turn did an excellent job in diagnosing our basset hound Tatiana! Her spleen was enlarged and had a tumor on it. The suggested I take her to Metropolitan for surgery, even though he was more then capable, they did not have the blood and she may have need a cardiologist on hand. I admire that in a vet! He gave me options and some were not good.He also explained the expense of going the surgery route. But they were option nonetheless. I chose to go to Metropolitan and do the surgery which is not cheap. Like I told everyone, I love my dog as much as a child or my husband and if it were my husband, I would not chose to put him to sleep but do anything to prolong his life!… read full review
I have been taking my dog George to Dr. Turns at Doerr Animal Clinic for his entire life, 11 years now. When I moved 3 years ago, I attended a vet who is within a mile from my new house. I never went to that practice again and immediately returned to Dr. Turns and Doerr Animal Clinic. I realized Id rather travel the long distance to keep my DOERR FAMILY! Some things like the best vet, one who you completely trust with your pet, is worth EVERYTHING! Thanks Dr. Turns and all your staff for creating a loving, safe, and professional environment for all ❤
They are very friendly and caring. My dog broke his nail up to the quick. They didn’t have any appointments available. They told me to bring him in anyway and they’ll fit him in. They are also very patient with my other dog who is not cooperative. As long as I have a pet we will continue to come here.
