For anyone who is freaked out by the thought of having to have eye removal surgery on a older dog, plz do it. We did not realize our doggie was in pain til it was removed. She had more energy the next day in a cone than she had the past year since she went blind in that eye. What felt like a curse ended up being a blessing. We are so very very blessed and so very grateful for Mrs.Tolar. Its now been a few days since she had her stitches removed and Miko is back to work on the Farm. She isn't grumpy, she has a ton of energy, and her tail is wagging constantly. The surgery changed our life for the better. If her other eye had to be removed, we would do it again.
