Dane's Salon, run by the talented stylist James, is a highly recommended hair salon located on Barret Ave. With a small and cozy atmosphere, the salon offers a laid-back and focused experience for its clients. James is known for his expertise in hair cutting and coloring, delivering excellent results with a polite and professional demeanor. He takes the time to understand his clients' needs and provides great conversation throughout the session. Services include shampooing and conditioning. Despite the occasional parking challenge, customers have been returning to Dane's Salon for over a decade, trusting James with their own hair as well as recommending him to family and friends.
James has cut my hair twice and my 7 year old son’s once. He starts every cut with a shampoo/conditioning and scalp massage. James listens to requests and makes recommendations when asked to do so. To date, I am very happy with his services. I will be going back.
James is an artist! He always does exactly what I ask for & I also trust him to get creative and do what he thinks is best for my hair.

I went to James for the first time (new to the area), and omg!!!!! I have been terrified of salons ever since my hair was fried 2 years ago. Well james made me feel home right away, and the head massage is to die for. I would go get a wash just for that everyday. I cried in his chair and felt soooooo pretty after he cut my hair. James will talk to you like family and you leave feeling like family. Very clean, very nice, and very very affordable.
