All of the staff was super sweet! They were caring, informative and all of the above! I had my implant taken out and it went better than when my gyno put it in and took it out! They gave me stuff before the procedure(ice pack, pad, and apple juice). The lady who took it out was so nice and made sure I was 100% numb. Everyone here was so helpful and kind! They are my new go to place for stuff like this!
I actually refuse to give planned parenthood less than a 5 star review, however my college aged daughter who attends school there and stayed for the summer to work had to come in and have her nexplanon removed and wanted an IUD. When she was having the removal of the nexplanon she was apprehensive about the amount of pain she would feel and said she made comments such as I’m so scared, I don’t do well with pain, etc. She told me the provider dead panned and informed her that she didn’t have to be there and didn’t have to have the procedure in a very condescending way. The staff and care providers here were so kind and attentive to me while I was struggling with pain during and post IUD insertion. They provided me with anything I could need— gatorades, water, crackers, heating and cold packs, and the time and space to recover in the room without feeling rushed out. They would check on me constantly, which was so appreciated. The procedure itself wasn’t pleasant, but everything else about this visit was. Easy to make the appointment, low wait time, qualified and caring staff. Thank you again, to everyone!
