Our heat in one of our Church buildings was not working. All 3 furnaces would not operate. Called late in the day and Rechtin made sure that they would send someone that day. Zach arrived about 3:30 and determined that the gas line pressure was extremely high. The problem was that water had dripped on the gas meter and had frozen up the vent which was the cause of the high pressure. Zach not only stayed late but he also made the call to DUKE energy to come and make the needed repairs to the gas meter. I already use Tom Rechtin but today I was stuck in some of the crazy snow we have and one of their employees came over and helped dig me out. A very kind act that he didn’t have to do. Very nice some one is still going out of their way to help strangers.
Rechtin heating and air was an excellent experience. I called them and they can out to service my heat pump, the fan wasn’t kicking on. They got it up and running but it went out later that day. I called rechtin back and they had a tech out asap. Zach diagnosed the issue and at first thought it was the fan, which was under warranty. He picked up the fan but still kept thinking why it wasn’t working. He realized it was a circuit board and saved me money by not installing the fan and instead the circuit board. Zach was a great communicator and very friendly. He also worked on my neighbors hvac. Thanks Zach
