I've been wearing the same glasses for 20 years - a pair of local made nylon "birth control" glasses I found here by a recommendation from my amazingly hip Uncle Tom! My little baby puppy chewed up my latest pair so I called from AZ and they still had me in the system and ordered them for me immediately! They answered the phone without any dumb robots or automated systems making it extremely frustrating. They are locally owned in Wichita and always helpful and very friendly.
Kent immediately knew what shape would work best for my boyfriend. He was patient as we tried on nearly every pair of glasses and took pictures of each other cause we are blind ;) ended up getting my boyfriend 2 pairs!!
I have really sensitive eyes with photophobia. I need to wear really dark sunglasses. When i came into Spectacle Shoppe, i met Kent and Roxie. They understood my condition and found me a pair of sunglasses that would help block the most light then Kent darkened them until it solved my problem. I really pressed him to keep darkening them more and more until finally we got it right! They are prescription, polarized, and have a dark brown tint. I'm so grateful to Kent for never giving up and answering all of my questions. Darkening sunglasses is not an easy process, it took about 2 months to get it right!
