Not really happy with my experience here. If I could finish my contact check appt somewhere else I would. When I first made my appointment I asked if they could use my eye doctor exam from one week before for my contacts. As I have no insurance and my previous exam was free for me at Hunter health. They said no problem and it would be $65 for the contact fitting. I was shocked when they told me it was $175 and I asked why and they said it was bc I was a new patient. I said the lady told me it was $65 to use my previous and they said oh she’s new she just got it wrong, you needed a new exam, and I guess reading one line of the text counts as a $100 exam. Great place to get your eyeballs checked. I haven’t had mine done in ages so finally got in. Grene vision was the original place from my insurance but they kept canceling mine, all the way to 6 month out… guess there were other more important clients.
Anyhoo, I’m glad they did as I found this place. Great and courteous reception, on time, and thorough with exams. Finally got my glasses I knew I would need and they also found higher pressure in the eyes which was taken seriously instead of blowing it off until it’s serious.

I absolutely recommend Wichita optometry to anyone in the area! I will never go anywhere ever again! I had made an appointment with Greene Vision and they had to book me for 6 weeks out— THEN, the day before my appointment, they call and cancel on me b/c the eye doctor wasn’t going to be there! I was really upset and then google searched and found Wichita optometry who got me in 2 days later at their east office (right around the corner from my house). They were so friendly and so thorough and took the time to answer all my questions.
