Melissa's Second Chances

I recently adopted my cat, Chick, from Melissa's. The entire process was quick and seamless! We also foster cats and exotics, and the foster team (and liaison system) is awesome. They're always willing to answer questions, set up vet appointments, etc.

I spoke with a few different adoption agencies before I ended up with Melissa's. I ended up adopting my girl Evie (formerly Esther) from them, and I'm so happy that I did! The foster was really knowledgeable about my dog and the process overall. I got her as a puppy, and I know that there are a lot of adopters they have to talk to - but she answered all of my questions, even if I had a random one and texted her during the day. I still text her pictures of Evie and she is always delighted to see them. The process was quick, but I feel like I had all of the information I needed, and there is a facebook group for alums as well.

An absolutely amazing rescue that helps bring sweet babies to their furever homes! I worked with them and one of their foster's while adopting my pretty girl, Ms. Violet (formally known as Virtual Violet) and then whole process was so smooth! I'm so grateful to have found them so that I could find Violet but also grateful for all the work they do!
