“My son has been attending classes at Jeong’s Taekwondo for about 8 months. He was very timid, shy, and generally uncomfortable around large groups of people outside of family. He was easily intimidated (even by smaller/younger kids) so he often played alone at school. Taekwondo has helped his confidence grow in so many ways. Head instructor John is a gifted individual who knows how to work with/teach a wide range of children (loud, rambunctious ones who can’t sit still, the criers, the rule breakers, the littles who refuse to participate etc.) Instructor John is patient, kind yet assertive. He gives individual attention to each student while making the class time efficient (several expert/advanced students are often present to help the younger kids as well.) They offer a good balance of fun activities (relay races, obstacle courses) but also teach focus and discipline. The independence and confidence my son has gained from playing sports and doing Taekwondo are invaluable. He has learned to speak up, not only for himself but for others as well. I highly recommend Jeong’s if you’re looking for anything I described above for your child/children.“

“First of all let me say that the owner Frass has been exceptional with training my son in private lessons and with the other kids in class. While he is very passionate, he is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind coach.

I had to request to join the gym and sign up there was never any high pressure and the agreement was explained.

The gym is clean, other trainees are helpful, coaches attentive and the hours are great for working adults to make it on time.

If I were to change and add something it would be that there was a women's Jiu jitsu class added to the schedule, but outside of my selfish request , this gym and it's coaches are excellent.“

“Gracie Jiu Jitsu for the win! I just switched from Taekwondo to the Jiu Jitsu class and I am loving it. The people at the school and in the classes are great. My martial arts journey started here at 48. I would recommend this school for children (Master Coleman is wonderful with children) and adults. As a drug addict and alcoholic in recovery, it was a miracle that I found this school. I have to be surrounded by healthy people to recover. No complaints about Taekwondo classes, Jiu Jitsu was just a better match for my style (perhaps my wrestling and law enforcement background influenced my decision).“

I myself have learned 10 weapons and 10 forms from him including 3 sectional staff, kwan dao, spear, and nunchucks. I have been learning 8 animal and tian Shan Pai from him which is just a small sample of what he I knows.“
