“What a wonderful place to learn TAEKWANDO! Lovely team of teachers and staff. Mr. Hubbard sets an amazing example to the kids. It is a like having a TAEKWANDO family! Kids not only learn martial arts but a way of life with discipline, respect and gratitude.“

“Really fun beginner class with a friendly instructor. We went over basic moves, then did some choreography, then finished with some drumming and singing. I really felt like we got a history lesson and a full well-rounded intro to capoeira.“

“My 11 year old son joined the academy the beginning of this year and we absolutely love it here. In these 4 short months he’s gained many marital arts skills and friendships with his classmates. Sensei Sanders and his family were welcoming from the first day. Definitely recommend Omega Karate!“

“The instructors at KOMA are attentive, patient, and great role models for the children. They each have their unique personalities and styles, contributing to a collectively well rounded program and learning experience. You can tell that they care about the students and are paying attention to their individual needs. As a recent example, when none of the nunchucks were a good size fit for my little guy, one of their amazing instructors Ms. Kaldahl, took one home and adapted it to fit him, using her own resources, impressive surgical skills, and precious time. I have rarely seen anyone go above and beyond to ensure that my child enjoyed their classes and that they were safe doing them. Both my kids love coming here and I highly recommend that you check out one of their free classes if your child is interested in martial arts.“

“My 9 year old son has been attending classes here for about 3 weeks now, and he loves it! He's usually very timid and shy in other sports he's been into like soccer, basketball, etc.. But for some reason, he just loves it here. We signed up my son after his first class since we saw how enthusiastic he was about it. I'm glad we did since we see the joy on his face every time he comes to class. The instructors are what makes the classes so enjoyable for him. They just know how to handle the kids in a great manner and teach them without being condescending. It's just been 3 weeks and my son is so much more confident. The instructors not only teach him tae kwon do, but they teach respect and manners as well. We love it here! They were very thorough with the sign up process, and prices are comparable to other places. They make it easy for us to check updates and schedules through their app that you download on your cell phone. The place is very clean and tidy, and the instructors and kids do wear masks for now.“

“Shogun MAI has exception martial arts instruction with an Intuitive understanding of what the students need for the next stage of development. The black belt instructors are great with adults and children alike. The Chief Instructor, Gregg Brown Sensei, has a very deep understanding of martial arts system history, application, connectivity, and utility, and promotes that in all aspects of his dojo.“

“My son has been going to Elite for several months and has loved it since day one. The instructors and staff are very welcoming and quick to learn your name. There is no pressure to make commitments you aren't ready for. Along with teaching taekwondo and self-defense, they work on life skills such as discipline, respect, focus, leadership, building self-esteem and confidence, communication skills and listening, and more. We have seen Ethan improve in several of these areas since starting at Elite. Throughout the year they also have several activities outside of the classes where students and their families have the opportunity to meet and hang out with other Elite families. We are very happy to have found Elite and appreciate all they have done for our son.“

“A great club that trains both Judo and Jujitsu and has both an adult class and kids class. They have instructors that still compete and have a lot to teach.“

“My daughter has been taking Karate here since her 7th birthday, and HapKiDo for the last few years. Throughout these last 7 years, the Masters Choon and Mary Jane Lee have become a second family to my daughter! This studio is more than just a way to learn self-defense, it is a second family, and a way of life! Ma. and Mrs. Lee genuinely care about their students, and their holistic well being. They will ask Mary about her grades, her home life, they can tell if she is off, and will talk to her about it. CHOON LEE'S ACADEMY OF TAE KWON DO is the best place to take marital arts in my opinion.“

“I’ve trained with my fair share of coaches and instructors. The staff here are world-class. Don’t believe me? Google them, or better yet just come try a class. To have access, in KC, to this level of training with coaches of this caliber is rare! No BS self-defense with their Krav program , competitive BJJ team, also a top-notch kids program for BJJ, coaches really take the time. It’s completely worth it. I won’t train anywhere else“
