In these 4 short months he’s gained many marital arts skills and friendships with his classmates. Sensei Sanders and his family were welcoming from the first day. Definitely recommend Omega Karate!“

Pride has experienced and skilled instructors that manage large classes excellently and make hard work fun! Definitely a place to go if you are interested in martial arts, self defense or kick boxing!!!“

516 E 63rd St, Kansas City“Gracie Jiu Jitsu for the win! I just switched from Taekwondo to the Jiu Jitsu class and I am loving it. The people at the school and in the classes are great. My martial arts journey started here at 48. I would recommend this school for children (Master Coleman is wonderful with children) and adults. As a drug addict and alcoholic in recovery, it was a miracle that I found this school. I have to be surrounded by healthy people to recover. No complaints about Taekwondo classes, Jiu Jitsu was just a better match for my style (perhaps my wrestling and law enforcement background influenced my decision).“

6300 W 51st St, Mission“This is an awesome place to train. It helps all individuals, from kids to adults. This school has it all. I've been training there for over five years now and I love it. They have self-defense several self-defense training systems. They also teach traditional Okinawan weapons. I love that we get that traditional material, and what's even better is that we get to learn the application of the techniques. I can't say enough about how much I enjoy what I'm learning at this school. I get a broad curriculum and detail of each technique all in multiple systems in one school. The Chief Instructor and owner, Sensei Brown, is awesome and is an 8th degree black belt as of this review. Give them a call if you interested in/want to get training for yourself and/or your family.Update 9/14/2022: I still stand by my original review above! Absolutely love training here. This is hands down the best martial arts school to train at.“

6120 NW 63rd Terrace, Kansas City“Our family absolutely loves our weekly trip to The Little Gym! Coach Robin and Coach Chy are the absolute best, and we trust either of them entirely with our baby girl. They have an unmatched enthusiasm and skillset with littles. Our daughter absolutely loves both of them and all the fun skills/stunts she picks up every week! Little Gym checks so many boxes. Confidence, risk taking, social skills, sharing, sign language, following directions, and so much more. An absolute must for any all families looking for a memorable and fun/safe activity to do together. ❤️“

3185 Terrace St, Kansas City“The best gym in the KC area to train at. The krav coaches are great and put you through a workout. You don’t have to worry about the “veterans” having egos or belittling you, they’re all helpful and welcoming. I’ve never been through a self-defense class in my life but after just turning 50, I feel so much better mentally and physically. Give them a try and you won’t be disappointed.“

6438 NW Crooked Rd, Parkville“Discovering Parkville's Pride Martial Arts has been a transformative journey for my child. Since joining in late 2021, she has progressed to a brown belt, but more importantly, she's evolved into a confident individual with strengthened self-esteem and a growing work ethic. What sets them apart is their approach; they don't just teach martial arts, they instill life skills like self-discipline, self-esteem, and honesty. Witnessing my child grow in these aspects over the past two and a half years has been incredibly rewarding.Pride Martial Arts isn't just a place of instruction; it's a supportive community where every student is valued. The instructors go above and beyond to understand each student's needs and aspirations, guiding them not only in martial arts but also in personal growth. My child's journey, from participating in tournaments to now being part of the legacy program to learn how to become an instructor herself, is a testament to their impact. I highly recommend anyone interested to take advantage of their free class offer and experience firsthand the transformative power of Pride Martial Arts.“
