Stanley stayed open to let me bring him there so he didn’t have to stay at the house for the night. They all wrote a card with condolences and even did a special ribbon for his paw print. “At the height of Covid, I was traveling crosscountry with my dogs when my 11-pound senior dachshund-pomeranian, Quiver, received a laceration very near her eye. I fervently called every vet along my route, and 7 or 8 of them turned me down before I rang Blue Valley Animal Hospital. They took her in, and due to Covid protocol at the time, I waited in my vehicle. I was expecting the bill to be more than $300 because Quiver had a similar injury near her eye in the past, and it had required anesthesia to treat. The doctor was absolutely so kind, comforting, reasonable, and honest—he managed to do a few drops of glue to repair the tear, and I think my bill was no more than $60 that harrowing day. What a relief!! Soooo much gratitude to you, Blue Valley Animal Hospital!!!“
