“Several houses in my subdivision had hail damage from a June 2023 storm. I had another company come out and inspect my roof, but their assessment of damage did not have enough detail to satisfy me. My State Farm Agent recommended Chapman Neil, so I called and Matt Federick came out and inspected my roof and found extensive hail damage. He met the State Farm Adjuster and went up on the roof during the inspection to help validate the damage. The claim was approved and Matt came back with a complete sample display of materials and color choices. We liked the samples, so we selected a different color for the roof along with our other choices.

We received a call for the install date and on that day the crew arrived on time and put down protective tarps all around the house. The tear off was completed in just about an hour and it was incredible watching the team coordinate finishing up the cleanup and moving materials up to the roof. All the vents and flashing was replaced and snow/ice shield was installed on the perimeter of the roof and all valleys and the utility penetrations. The team finished up in the afternoon and the workmanship of the installation was impeccable. The cleanup of all old roofing materials was exceptional with no nails or pieces left anywhere.

I installed shingles on several roofs in my younger days and it was a learning experience to watch the crew work so seamlessly and professionally as a team through the whole process. We love the new color of the roof and have gotten several compliments. I would not hesitate to recommend Chap Neil Property Solutions to anyone. Job well done!“

The sunroom was originally an open air porch with elliptical arched openings.

“~ 4 years ago, John and his roofing crew outfitted our home with a new cedar shake roof. Recently we noted that a couple of water spots appeared on the ceiling in an upstairs bedroom. The Ext,]. Wood Restoration roofing crew came out promptly and determined the problem was NOT with the roof, but instead resulted from water condensing, leaking and corroding an exhaust flue that serviced our upstairs furnace. We contacted our HVAC company and they verified that the problem. The roofing crew worked closely with the HVAC company to coordinate the replacement of the roof top vent and cap, as the HVAC company did not want to climb on (and potentially damage) the cedar shake roof. Once the cap and collar of the vent were in place, the roof crew spray painted the metal to match the other vents on the house. All of the repair work was done promptly and efficiently as the Ext. Wood Restoration crew they worked closely with the HVAC company and they were able to be here at the requested time. Great job all around!!“
