“I can't say enough good things about my experience with Highland Hardwood Flooring. First, the owner came out for the initial estimate visit and gave us a very thorough explanation of the process. We knew we wanted to use Highland just because of the professionalism he showed on that visit, but we assumed they would be much more expensive than others. Much to our surprise their quote was right in line with competitors. Once we decided to go with Highland they gave us a start date almost six weeks out (this was not a surprise since Daniel [the owner] had told us it would be August before they could get to us. I expected the date to be adjusted, as is the case with most contractors, but they started on the exact date they originally quoted, and every step was performed exactly according to the original schedule we were provided at the outset.
The scope of our project was to remove the ceramic tile in the kitchen and pantry, add new hardwoods there and in the adjacent master bedroom and closet, and stair treads, then sand and refinish the existing and new hardwoods with an entirely new color. We couldn't be more pleased with the whole job. The color came out great, the transitions between each room, perfect, and the final bill was exactly what they quoted.

“So so happy that Deshawn was called in to literally fix our Brazilian Cherry floor refinishing nightmare! Theirs is the second company that had to be hired to redo the mistakes made by the first company which - believe me - were unbelievable, even though the first company insisted they had the “most experience in the industry”. FCI oversaw the job and called in Chuck Cole (Deshawn Cole) to fix all the mistakes which involved sanding down to bare wood again to make things right. Deshawn and his son were very professional, fast and efficient and we couldn’t be happier! Little did we know that Deshawn had helped his father Chuck (DC Flooring back in 2006) with the original Brazilian Cherry floor installation! Braz Cherry can be a very unforgiving wood to work with (as we learned the very hard way!) but they knew what they were doing and the floors look amazing! Would highly recommend!“

“We used AWS for a complete remodel of our primary bathroom and our guest bathroom. The entire process far exceeded our expectations; beginning with Rick coming out to our home, Teresa guiding us through the design and selection process and ending with Greg and the guys doing the actual renovations. The entire staff at AWS is efficient, professional and friendly. Their experience is obvious as exhibited in their work. Greg takes great pride in his work and he is incredibly talented. They respected our home and took great care to prep the worksite and to clean up at the end of each day. The end result was absolutely amazing!! Update: I did in fact use AWS to remodel my kitchen three years later as planned. The remodel was recently completed and they knocked it out of the park! Rick came out initially to start the process and was there whenever we needed him. Teresa guided us through the design process and was with us every step of the way. Greg and Lenny did the actual work and are superb craftsman. Their high standards are unparalleled. They do the little finishing touches that really bring the project together. This is a family owned business; Greg and Lenny are brothers. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner of the company, Sarah, after the remodel was finished. We thought that was a nice personal touch. I simply cannot recommend AWS enough!“

“I contacted Conner's along with a few other companies for an estimate to remodel my bathroom. When Jamie came out he was able to give me an estimate and an approximate beginning and ending date. After some conversation with my spouse we decided to go with Conner's and we are very happy we made that choice. Not only did they finish on time but all the workers who came into my house were friendly and respectful. There was good communication from the office as to who would be coming to work and on what day. When we encountered a few problems (like the floor heating vent was right where the vanity needed to be), Conner's found a good solution. The bathroom is beautiful And well worth the price we paid.
