“Ive never had any issues or problems at this office. Until today 7/16/25 i took my glasses in to be straightened out. They were bent at the hinge, the lady stated if she tried to fix em they might snap n break. I told her the other lady always puts them on a machine n even told me last time when i told her my friend could fix them, she said no bring them in here coz if they break that would not be covered. This black lady had NO CLUE as to how to fix n tighten my glasses then she didn't even clean them, until i ask her to . She didn't even clean them well either. Idk why she had no clue to what she was doing but her co worker she asked about this also n i guess she had no clue either. I believe there's a sand that's warm they roll the glasses in n then they bend easy is how they're normally fixed. They need to find someone who knows what they're doing. Seems someone in that place knows how to operate that sand machine n fix glasses. I'll be sure to call next time b4 i go to be sure someone is there that knows what they're doing. Until today is gave Dr. Tavels 5 stars but that lady ruined that. Plus the other one didn't know nothing either.“

I was planning on getting new glasses as my current ones were progressively failing qat distance. But the loss was a crisis.

I found my prior glasses which were broken. I used them to drive to their location as they could cut new ones immediately

The net result was we ran a new eye examine literally within minutes when I walked in though the door - that had substantial luck. I walked out under four hours later with temporary plastic lenses that are very good distance. They handled my insurance and I'll have new progressive glasses soon.

Note complaints on insurance is often the insurer not the service provider but I recommend phone calls before you're on the hook for payment.
