He knew what he was doing and perhaps, he was able to deal with my injuries, and basically resolved them. Kyla was my tech and she was always amazing with big and infectious smiles. Kyla was always friendly and professional as well. I had an option to go to IU for my treatment, but decided to return to this Athletico location because of this awesome people; Lisa, Dan, Kyla, Tess, Emily, and a host of others.“

“I had a full replacement of my left knee in April. I worked with Lexie Turner,DPT, for 3 months. My progress was excellent. She is very knowledgeable, patient, and a good listener. Her commitment to her patients is clear and strong. When something wasn't working out well for me, she would offer a different activity or exercise. She always explained WHY and HOW. Every time I added a new goal, she supported it and added appropriate exercises to help me achieve that goal.

My story is an unusual one. I live in upstate New York. I went to a local orthopedic surgeon in my area, with an excellent reputation. I started PT 4 days after surgery with a group practice in a nearby town. My first 6 weeks went very well, always seeing the same therapist. That therapist left left for a 1-month honeymoon, and I was bounced among the four remaining therapists, never seeing the same one more than twice in a row. I wasn't making much progress. I went to Indianapolis to take care of my daughter who was battling cancer-- radiation, three surgeries in 3 weeks, recovery and chemo. During the time caring for my daughter, I did not want to lose the progress I had made with my own post-surgical recovery. A friend, who had seen Lexie for physical therapy, recommended Athletico and Lexie. Lexie's consistent, expert guidance and skills resulted in a very good outcome: increased mobility with much less pain, increasing strength, and the belief that I can continue to improve once I returned to NY.

Lexie's therapy skills are so impressive that she tipped the scales in a difficult decision: I will have my right knee surgery in Indianapolis and work with Lexie for my post-surgical PT. I juggled many factors in this decision, especially removing my daughter's burden to travel to NY for my post-op care. My experience with Lexie made that decision much easier. I'll be back in April!“

“So happy to have found a doctor who hears my concerns and doesn't rush me. My 2 year old son and I share the same family doctor here. Our doctor is wonderful and if my son is sick we can usually call and get in the same or next day to see the doctor. I also like the option to message through mychart. They are always curtious and helpful at the front desk. There are times when they get a rush but I think patience and a little kindness is not much of an ask during the busier times of the year. Also can't beat the newly renovated office, exam rooms, in addition the lab in the building makes lab work or x-rays a quick trip. Hendricks also offers great financial assistance if needed.“

“I have received incredible care here at Ortho Indy over the past week and a half. Brandy Brown and her team got me scheduled in quick, and were rather pleasant to speak to on the phone. All 3 times I visited, the clerks checking me in were overly friendly. Most of the staff went out of their way to smile and say hello, the ones that didn’t were busy doing task, or on the phone. The X-ray technician was friendly and patient (I can’t recall her name). Dr.Rosales is very professional, and easy to understand. I believe Shannon was my MRI technician, she and her help were very good at getting me on the table and comfortable to go into the machine (the music selection was great ?).
The icing on the cake, when it came time to have a procedure done… Nurse Jenny came to verify all of my history and we had a nice chat to help me to understand the process. I was surprised to see Jenny as I already know who she is. She did a great job in easing my mind, it was a real treat to speak to her. Jenny finished up, and left me to wait, meanwhile I use the restroom and re enter my room to find Ms. Linda waiting to wheel my bed and I to a surgery room (Linda is a very sweet person.) Linda wheeled me over to meet all her friends Bob, Amy, and Dr.Rosales. You can tell this team meant business and were very comfortable doing so. It was like a family in there, not to mention that yet again… there was a great music selection. My procedure went well, and with a lot less pain than expected (my experience). I was wheeled out to the discharge waiting room, again greeted by happy professional staff. There were 3 people tending to me, I gathered 2 of them were just going out of their way to be helpful to the other. They all had great team spirit! LOL. In my experience which I believe is probably exceptional, things went very quickly (8 days from diagnosis to procedure). Regardless of the speediness, the care I received here was over the top, and everyone I came in contact with at least pretended to love their work, although they all gave me the impression that they truly do love it. I have left some names out here I know… that doesn’t make those people any less admired, I’m just terrible with names. Patrons please strongly consider using this facility for your needs, staff please keep up the great work! Thank You!“
