I came in, hoping to get help with a damaged nerve that got worse after standing all day at my job, and due to her expertise and experience working with others who do a lot of physical labor and have longstanding hours, she knew exactly how to help me by testing my movements. Now I understand where I need to strengthen my body to lessen the pain and prevent it from getting worse. Within the first month, I already felt a significant difference. She is kind and understanding, and wanted to help get me out as quickly as possible, within my budget and body limitations.
Alongside this, the staff are professional, personable, and calming. I love that space. Wishing everyone the best as the business grows.“

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Cabrera and his practice! He is gentle yet effective, and I truly feel relaxed and in a better state when I leave his office. I'm sleeping better, exercising more and just generally feeling a lot better. I told Dr. Cabrera that these appointments are the best part of my day!“

They will address whatever problem I may be concerned about each session. It’s a very peaceful atmosphere, and everyone is very personable and respectful.
It was not hard to get appointments after my initial evaluation, and I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes after my appointment time for my therapist to start working with me.
I highly recommend Fyzical!“

839 Dodge Ave, Evanston“I came to Amie when I had an aggravated neck nerve that was causing arm and hand pain. I've had physical therapy for past problems (knee), but this time when my neurosurgeon prescribed PT, I researched PTs in Evanston. I settled on Skillz PT because it's a small shop and you get very personalized work, unlike big PT organizations where you're just one patient in one shop. Also, the reviews were great. Aime did a thorough review of my arm and neck capabilities and then went over with me what her recommendations were and why and also how we'd know I was making progress. (Like how much could I twist my neck.) She taught me a regimen of stretches and strength exercises, and sure enough, my pain became milder and much less frequent, to the point where it's gone. It's been months since I completed PT and I've kept up the exercises and unless I skip a few days of work, I don't even get a twinge. Much prefer this to waking up in the middle of the night with pain. So I can only agree with the other positive reviews I've seen of Aime and her tech Rachelle. The shop is always very clean, I see people disinfecting machines and equipment as soon as someone finishes using it, and there are just little nice touches like free bottles of water, coffee and tea, and even chocolates and health cookies. Aime keeps her eyes on you as you work and corrects mistakes, which I much appreciate. To people skeptical about physical therapy or who've had past bad experiences, I"d recommend going in for an evaluation while keeping an open mind and seeing what your gut says and I think you might be pleasantly surprised.“

4814 N Sheridan Rd, Chicago“Over the years, I’ve had several occasions to need physical therapy. I never found it helpful or personalized to my needs.
That has all changed with my experience at PT Solutions of Uptown. Their therapists and support staff are not only extremely knowledgeable, but also extremely caring. There is no boiler plate to this care. They check in with you at each session to see how you’re doing and tailor the session to emphasize your needs. They are patient in explaining the exercises you need to do and constantly check in to make sure that they are pushing limits without causing any excessive pain or discomfort. It’s a fine line, but they make it look easy.
I have recommended this location to both my primary care and specialist as well as to others I know in need of this type of service.
I highly recommend this team.“

I came here, feeling hopeless trying to find help for a tendon strain I felt in my knee during heavy squats or plyometric movements. Here I met Nidhi, who was extremely knowledgeable, never rushed me and actually worked with me during my rehabilitation. They’re all so friendly here and make the rehabilitation process a hopeful and upbeat one. If you’re an athlete and you need to get back to how you were. These are the people your looking for.“

7119 W Dempster St, Niles“Update on my review, Sept’23:Everything I said below two years ago is still absolutely true. If you are in need of physical therapy, Athletico on Dempster Street in Niles – Morton Grove is definitely the place to go. All of the therapists here are extremely competent, knowledgeable in all the latest techniques, such as dry needling, and they are very kind and understanding of your individual needs, adapting your therapy with those in mind. Physical therapist Joby John and therapy assiant Haroon created such a program for me that demonstrates the measurable progress I'm making, My current visits are the result of coming out of a rehabilitation facility to continue that therapy as well as to get me ready for a total knee replacement. All of those needs are being fully met. Look no further. This is the place to come. You will be very glad you chose Athletico. My review 2 years ago, below:As an 81-year old with a history of bilateral total high replacements and lumbar spinal fusion, , chronic back pain has been part of my daily life for years. Several years ago I was helped greatly by therapy with Parul Shah here and, even with continued home exercise, this winter it was obvious that I was in need of a "tune up". My physiatrist recommended a return to Parul but her schedule was filled more than a month ahead so I worked with Joby John instead who has been remarkable! He really "knows his stuff", is kind, personable and constantly made adjustments and added to my PT program as needs dictated. I obtained pain relief by "dry needling" with therapeutic massage in which Joby is specially trained and certified. After two months of PT I "graduated" to Joby's home exercise program designed for my current needs. I enthusiastically recommend Joby and ALL the excellent therapists and therapy assistants here at Athletico in Morton Grove.“

The dedication and passion of this team is unlike Physical Therapy as I know it!
They know their stuff and worked very hard to make sure I grasped and mastered the necessary tools to heal.
If you need PT, ( Run if you are able to.). They are wonderful.
Special thanks to Cindy who somehow figured a way to put me in their already overbooked schedule. I never felt rushed or short cutted.
There is just not enough good I can say about Ivy. Thank you.“
