“I feel so lucky to have connected with Skillz Physical Therapy! I was previously a client of Athletico. But after my most recent sports injury--a strain or tear of the calf muscle--they couldn't fit me in for 6 weeks. I couldn't wait that long to address the injury, and really, who could?
After a lengthy search, I discovered Skillz and owner Aime Maranan. Aime was able to schedule an assessment for me the VERY NEXT DAY. What a relief! During the assessment, I was impressed with both her functional approach and her breadth and depth of knowledge. She determined that my lower back was the true source of the problem.
Aime designed a program for me and gave me a likely recovery timeline of 3 weeks. I worked with the excellent Skillz staff twice a week, plus home exercises.Three weeks is exactly the amount of time it took me to fully recover and return to pickleball, yoga, gyrotonic, and weight training. I couldn't believe I was able to recover that quickly.
In addition to compassionate, knowledgeable, and highly trained staff, the Skillz space is spotless, and their equipment is state of the art. No need to look any further.“
