“Dr Sarah Ghorbanian is easily the most helpful doctor I’ve seen in years. After months of visits to different orthopedic doctors within the Northwestern group of doctors ranging from orthopedic surgeons to “specialists in their field” in Streeterville to Glenbrook, a friend suggested I see a chiropractor for the constant problems I was having with my hip. Although I was hesitant to see a chiropractor after seeing so many different Northwestern doctors that did nothing to help me, Dr Sarah found my problem after 2 sessions and some x-rays. She promptly referred me to an orthopedic surgeon at Rush Hospital who could better assist me with the problem I was having since she believed I wouldn’t be able to fix it with further adjustments. After a consultation and some x-rays with her referral, I was recommended to see a physical therapist for a few months to work on my condition and I’m finally cured. Without the aid of Dr Sarah, I don’t know that I would have ever found the right path to recovery. I couldn’t recommend her more. She genuinely cares about her patients and wants to find the problem and fix it. She’s not interested in just selling the patient a surgery, putting them on meds, or sessions that never seem to end. A rarely found quality in any doctor in today’s medical industry.“

“I can’t express how great Lakeside Spine & Wellness has been for my physical therapy needs. The administrative staff at the front desk are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They understand the importance of developing positive relationships with their patients. The physical therapist I was working with is no longer with Lakeside Spine, but was he was fantastic. I noticed improvement in my shoulder over the months, but we just weren’t able to get my shoulder back to 100%. He recommended I see Dr Chang for acupuncture. I was willing to try it, and I’m now a believer. Since seeing Dr Chang , my pain levels have dropped to almost zero with increased range of motion. I get to use it every time and it’s the best thing ever. Last week we added the leg squeezer things. “I started working with a personal trainer at Activation Fitness Gym. I was specifically looking to build back the muscle I’ve lost as I’ve aged. Have I gained muscle, yes, but what I really appreciate is the attention to my form. I’ve worked with trainers before but this is the first time I’ve learned how weak I am 😂. I’ve learned I can lift more weight with bad form and a lot less with good form BUT no injuries and visible muscle growth are happening. I’m looking forward to starting the small group classes while I continue strength training.“
