“Niki is amazing! We adopted two dogs recently and had to go out of town. She put a lot of thought into the best approach to transition them to her home, offering to pick them up so they didn’t experience us dropping them off and walking away from them. She thinks about how an animal will perceive things and seeks to minimize any discomfort or stress for the animal.
