Had my first and last ever appointment with Animal Medical Center today. I had a free initial vet appointment/fecal exam with this place as it was included in the adoption fee for my cat. Before coming, I checked reviews online and saw loads of bad reviews on here, and went into the appointment knowing that I would do everything I could to not allow them to do more than just a fecal exam (a handful of the reviews on here mention having bad experiences with shots, etc. and I just knew I didn't want to mess around with that before taking her to a better vet). This Animal Medical facility in the last year has become terrible, they give your dog shots and or vaccinations with out your permission when you ask them who Authorized this? They say they do not know, or a Tech did. I would hope and pray they lose their license from operating.

Worst veterinary clinic in the south suburbs. Avoid them like the plague. They have no compassion, they treat both you and your animal as if you were nothing more than a number. After a number of very bad experiences, including the unnecessary death of our cat, Houdini, we left them some years ago and have had no regrets. The vets we went to are to total opposite. They are kind, knowledgeable and treat us, and our animals with warmth, dignity and respect. If you love your animals do them, and yourself a favour. Go elsewhere.
