“Selis Eyebrows is my new go-to salon for eyebrow threading.Prior to switching over to Selis Eyebrows, I frequented a place further South but when I moved further North I needed to find a place closer to me. Like most Yelpers I checked out a few places in the area before finally coming across Selis Eyebrows.The brow technician that I met during my first visit is what made them stand out from the rest. Anytime I visit a new brow salon I bring a reference photo of my favorite brows. I show them so they can visualize how I like my brows. This may seem extreme but I do not have much luck with salons that have rotating technicians.I have a shaved head so having messed up brows impacts my face even more. The technician I encountered was so sweet and understanding. She assured me that all of the salon technicians focus on cleaning up the brows during your first visit. They like to follow your natural brow line unless you state you want something in particular. She made me feel at ease and I loved the end result.Since I waited a longer period of time to visit my brows were more messy which typically hurts more but she was gentle. I took a long time grow out my eyebrow tips from the years of waxing and trying to force myself to have an arched brow. During my visit she didn't default to making my brows thin and kept them fuller which is my preference.The inside of the salon is spacious and always clean. Every time I've visited there wasn't too much of a line. I normally visit on the weekdays not around their peak hours. They do offer appointments if you are pressed for time and don't want to wait.I hope Selis Salon stays in the area for a long time because they are top notch.“

“I’ve been going to Pilorum Hair Salon for my cuts but I just went here and will be switching over. Not only is a women’s hair cut more than half the price (here it’s $35), but she was so gentle, meticulous, yet fast. She showed me my hair and genuinely asked if I wanted to change the back layers. She went on to explain how the hair would fall and look when styled with more vs. less layers and when I said I preferred more, without hesitation or annoyance, she added more. Then she blow dried and styled my hair then checked the layers and cut when it was dried. And she didn’t charge for the blow drying/styling. At my previous salon(s), they would do that without asking and charge more for it at the end. I feel very happy with my cut. Thank you! ??“

I have never been able to grow my nails, they are thin and easily broken, but at Toni G’s, the girls paid special attention and tried different methods and now I have nice long nails! Toni cuts hair and does color (very talented) and Nat and the other girls do manis and pedis and are very very reasonably priced!
