About Life Time
Life Time Schaumburg is an expansive athletic country club that offers something for everyone. Its massive space features an extensive fitness floor, unlimited studio classes, basketball courts, eucalyptus steam rooms, and indoor and outdoor pools. Members enjoy unlimited group training and individualized attention through a Signature Membership. The facility is well-equipped with a wide range of amenities, including a rock climbing wall, sauna, eating areas, spa services, personal training, and workout classes. The gym is popular and can be crowded, especially on weekends, but it has a plentiful supply of equipment and spaces, making it easy for members to find a spot to work out. Some areas could benefit from an update, but the staff is energetic and welcoming, providing a great start to a workout. Personal trainers, like Ryan and Ivo, are highly recommended for their expertise and commitment to helping members achieve their fitness goals. Additional amenities include clean showers and sauna, as well as a variety of cardio machines and free weights. Members appreciate the cleanliness of the female locker room and shower area, which are always well stocked. While there are minor issues, such as occasionally running out of wet wipes and inconsistent towel sizes, the overall experience is positive. The facility is kept very clean, and there are no unpleasant odors. Life Time Schaumburg exceeds expectations, offering a diverse range of services and amenities to cater to various fitness needs and preferences, despite some challenges with gym etiquette among a few members.
I've seen amazing progress since starting here. The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable and take a personal approach to every session, making sure my form is perfect while keeping the energy high. I work With Matt Ebersole, he works as a nutritionist as well which is super helpful. The gym itself is huge, open, and always clean, which makes working out here a great experience. There is something to do for all ages and lots of classes!
Love this gym but we have to do a better job with controlling the gym floor.
- lot of pervs just staring and gawking (you know what I’m talking about)
- groups of 4-5 dudes standing around one machine blocking egress and movement around the gym. It just lowers the value/feel of the gym. Feels like an Xsport at night vs a gym I’m paying $200/mo for. I’d preferably pay more to keep an exclusive feel and to have a proper environment.
Spacious high energy gym with good amenities. This 2 floor spacuous gym is well equipped, provides most free classes, and a great outdoor pool.
Monthly memebership prices are usually more expensive than standrad gyms. I am a frequent user of the cardio weights hot tub sauna pool and showers and feel that if well used this is one of the best investments i made on my physical and emotional health.
