“I’m not usually a huge review writer, however, I do think it is absolutely necessary to let others know about the outstanding care of my father has received through Peak. He is an elderly gentleman with a need for assistance with his activities of daily living.
I generally am his primary caregiver, but I also work full-time. My father needs assistance with meal prep, house cleaning, laundry, and often just needs someone to be home with him.
From the start, we were blessed with Amy. She jumped in when I was out of the country and he developed a hip condition that affected his mobility. She immediately made him feel safe and well cared for in a time when he was scared and I could not be there. I cannot tell you how much of a relief it was to know he was comfortable. Amy quickly became like a member of our family. My dad always looked forward to their time together. We were not surprised when the management saw her skill level and promoted her. We were sad to lose her, but excited for her career growth.
We, again, were blessed, as this change brought us Erika. She has been a breath of fresh air. She has the best personality and you can tell she really cares about my dad. From the start, she listened to what my dad needed done, how he wanted it done, and then did it perfectly. I can’t begin to tell you how much it means to me to have someone here taking such good care of my father. I know when she’s here that I don’t have to worry about him. As a primary caregiver, this is honestly a gift.
