I have been cutting my hair with Liz for a few times now and just want to say she's a great stylist who gave me exactly the cut I requested from a picture I showed her on Pinterest. She is always happy, and makes you feel welcomed, we aIso have great conversations! I highly recommend this place, everyone needs to find their special stylist and this salon has plenty to choose from.
I wanted to wait to review this salon after a few visits. My mom and I wanted to find a new salon, so after reading the reviews, we decided to give it a try. First visit, was a good experience. My mom requested a hair cut and color, which was provided by Marilu. As for myself just a trim and thinning out some volume nothing crazy and was done by Alma. Second visit, we requested the same services but a different stylist helped us, which was Elia. Not a good experience at all, she dyed my mom's hair the wrong color and had to attempt to correct it again and that also was the wrong color. She never asked my mom to choose a shade from the color catalogue to begin with, she chose a color herself. She never apologized either. As, for my hair cut she gave me, after cutting and thinning out my hair she didn't even clean me off with a brush or hair dryer my shirt was covered in hair and I had to attempt to do it myself in the trash can they have there. My hair started falling out more than usual after a cut, it felt like I didn't even get a hair cut. After that experience my mom didn't want to return at all, but I convinced her to see Alma the stylist that cut my hair on the first visit. She decided to let me dye her hair at home and we just got hair cuts from Alma. So, we went to see Alma the other day and it was a great experience, my mom was very happy with the results. It's a good salon , with great affordable prices.I'm glad we were able to find a great stylist like Alma.
I went here to cut my daughter(6) long hair, and the ladies here were so welcoming, friendly, and kind. My daughter was nervous but these girls did a good job cutting her bangs and dead ends.
Everyone was very professional and kind. I felt at home love love everyone. Thomas and Riley are the best. Leslie was very helpful.
We visited here the day before Thanksgiving for the first time and we had a wonderful experience. The space is beautiful, very open, bright and clean. This was my nieces first time getting a manicure and also her birthday. The staff all came together to sing happy birthday to her and they gave her a birthday cupcake!! Anna was very nice making sure my niece was comfortable and was happy with the color selection she chose. The price point was very reasonable for a no chip manicure with hand massage. I will definitely be back to try out a pedicure and manicure for myself.
Hefzi was wonderful! She explained everything she was doing and she did a fantastic job! I will go back to see her.
I'm not a patient here, but my husband is. It's a welcoming place. Workers and dentists are very nice. Very nice on the inside. It's a more homey style dental office.
Rich's Galaxy Upholstery did a great job replacing the foam in my couch cushions. Rich described the different foam options for firmness and density and had samples, too. The turnaround time was very quick, and working with him was pleasant and easy. I would certainly use and refer Rich's Galaxy Upholstery in the future.
Len Builders is the Nordstrom of home design. We are lucky to have bought one of their beautiful homes. A restored Sears kit house originally built in 1914. They kept many of the charming original details of the home yet added modern features that blend perfectly and make the home more livable. In addition to a stunningly beautiful design and quality craftsmanship...the mechanics of the home, including a fully finished and waterproofed basement, are all upgraded and give us peace of mind that the home is solid and safe. To this day Dr. Rick is the best chiropractor Ive had adjust my back. Moved to a different state unfortunately. I have been going to Jacqueline's Nail Salon for a few months and every visit been great. If you're looking for a nice clean peaceful Nail Salon check out Jacqueline's. Make an appointment and get you're nails or toes done. Mike and Lisa will not have you sitting waiting for 30/40mins like a lot of other nail salons. Lisa is a Master at designs and always give me just that pop im wanting. Jacqueline's Nail Salon is the place to be for on time appointments and a great environment.
I've taken my son to this salon since he was two years old. He doesn't like the clippers and they did a great job accommodating to him, and cut his hair with scissors. The price doesn't bother me because I'd honestly pay someone $30 for a haircut, but know that my son is being treated nice. The dilemma that I had was the lady cutting his hair was too busy talking that didn't pay attention to the indication of how my son wanted his hair cut. However, they are nice and friendly and super welcoming.

When my 3 year old played in her first recital after a few months of studying with Miss Nissa, I had no idea how it would go. Would she throw herself on the floor? Would she belt out "Let It Go" from the stage? Would she cry and refuse to bow to the audience?
I didn't need to be afraid. She did exactly as she had practiced - a deep bow that was met with thunderous applause and her stunned exhilaration. She practically floated back to her seat. Later, when we walked to the car, she held my hand and stopped me to say something I never expected to hear: "Mommy, thank you for believing in me."
And my heart exploded.
Nissa has created an environment where my daughter and I have this incredibly special activity we do together. It's our thing. And in so many ways, it's a metaphor for our broader relationship: exciting, creative, frustrating, confounding, loving and hilarious. We have so many games to play (pretend angry/goofy/happy fingertips), songs to sing and so many recital outfits to plan. And we have to work through the hard parts together, and our bond is stronger for it.
Violin brings me closer to my child, but it also gives her another adult to love, too. My child adores Nissa. She gives her running leaping hugs. She steals her chocolate kisses and they joke about it. She takes great pride in wiping off Nissa's dry erase board. She is entirely herself in Nissa's classroom.
There are so many more great things I could say, and so many more examples I could give, but the most important to me is this: Nissa has proven time and again that she is such a special teacher. She has texted me from her class at professional development conferences because she's so excited about a new idea to engage my kid. She delivered a note from the "Violin Fairy" to clarify that her bow should be used only in specific ways - and the note was hand decorated with a fairy, purple flowers and glitter. She brings the kids together after their recital to do yoga because she knows they need to decompress.
I'm so happy that Anderson Music Studio is part of our lives. It's one of the best investments our family has made. And whether or not my child ever plays violin professionally or recreationally as an adult, it has deepened our family's ability to love and appreciate music together.

J. Cizek & Sons replaced all the windows in my house and did an amazing job. I am would highly recommend them. Very professional and clean, not a speck of dust anywhere. The price was better than other companies and very friendly and nice employees. Absoutely a five star rating!

Love getting my hair cut by Angela. She is literally the only person I trust with my hair. I have very thick and coarse hair, probably 3x what the average person has, and she always does an excellent job of cutting it.

I have been a patient for over 25 years and never had bad service. Dr Hejna is a dedicated Dr. he has a concern in how he take care of his patients. I have had both of my knees replaced. Over 10 years and thank to him. I walk two mile a day and have know problems. Also I truste his assistant that have work alone side of him. They are the best as well. Dr Hejna has a well trained staff. Keep up the good wirk
In April of 2023 Dr. Hejna replaced by left knee with excellent results. He has replaced both of my husband and sister's knees with great outcomes. Dr. Hejna is exremely skilled, kind, and truly one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the Chicago area. He will be replacing my right knee soon, as I wouldn't have any other surgeon touch it!

I just got my haircut from Maribel today and its EXACTLY what i wanted. I have long hair and i do medium/long layers. I have wavy hair. Not only did she do them beautifully, but she is so FAST! I was in a hurry today and didn't do the blowdry, but she washed and did my cut in like 30 minutes. I went to a different woman maybe couple years ago, and also had a great experience. Love how my waves look. My hair has the life back into it! Thank you Maribel!! xo love this place.
