We had 4 rooms of ugly builder-grade carpet that had to go! Brookfield came in and installed all 4 rooms with hardwood floors and they are beautiful! They are efficient and hardworking. Kevin and crew did an amazing job and we recommend them highly. We got their name from a close friend who had them install flooring in her entire townhouse and that looked amazing as well.

Walter and his son, Mike, did a great job painting several rooms in our house, including multiple colors, finishes, and accent walls. They also worked on a pretty tight timeline, finishing ahead of schedule.
I love these guys. Eddie and Angel came out to replace my air conditioner and did a great job at a reasonable price. There were no high pressure sales tactics - in fact the owner, Giovanni, was willing to work with me on a much cheaper part to see if we could prolong a full replacement of the unit, but with it being 30 years old, it was just time. These guys are honest, efficient and the communication is great.
I had tiles replaced in my bathroom some years ago and had my tub finished and painted but the handyman who did smeared grout all over the tiles and the paint in my tub became stained very quickly. My bath and shower area was an eyesore for many years. I recently hired a different handyman who did a great job removing all the grout and saving the tiles. Since I have only one bathroom, I didn't want a lengthy and expensive bathtub replacement. I told this handyman I wanted a good company to install a liner over my tub. He recommended Phoenix Bathtub Replacement in Cicero. I was so happy I called. Denise quoted me a price and set up a time to have Ed come out and take measurements. Ed did a great job though he had to deal with one of my cats who chased the laser measuring device that Ed was using. Ed called me into the bathroom and I move the cat to another room. I was told two weeks until the delivery and installation of the liner but it was only a week and a half. Denise called me to set up that appointment to have Mike come out to install the liner. Mike came out on Friday, October 29 and was done in only two hours! I was given instructions on how to clean and care for the liner. It looks great! I love my new look bath and shower! We needed a portable restroom for a construction jobsite so we rented one from Twilight in May 2025. Steve, Jerry, and Victoria were really great! They were always accommodating, friendly, helpful, and always returned my calls very quickly. Twilight is very easy to work with and understood the needs of our specific jobsite. They cleaned the restroom every week as promised and were great about pickup & delivery. We are a small business and we like to support other small businesses in our local area and Twilight did not disappoint! We will definitely use them again in the future and recommend them as well. Mari and I got back to high school. I decided to get a haircut because my last one was a year ago. It was long and untamed.
Mari is always exceptional with hair knowledge, advise, suggestion, and ideas. She listens to what I like and am comfortable with. Mari makes getting your haircut FUN and she is a therapist also (ha, ha, ha)!
She cleaned up all my ends and added a medium amount of layers in order to have some volume. I then decided to have highlights to enhance my look. I told her I missed having blonde hair and she went to work.
I am over the top with the results. I am blonder, the highlight went beyond my expectations!! The layers were exactly where I need and want them.
I will need to return in a timely fashion to enhance this nice look!

I am so happy I found Liz, she makes you feel special from the minute you walk through the door . What started as just a pedicure for a wedding has turned into my favorite place to “treat myself!”

I highly recommend Suburban plumbing. We called for an emergency where sewer water was coming from our drains in the basement. Mike and Bob were knowledgeable and were able to pin point the issue. They explained to us what they did and why we needed additional services for example the jet cleaning. The prices are not as high as other companies and can finance a project. Overall service was quick and efficient. I am glad to do business and will contract them for further projects.

Jose was fantastic. Organized, meticulous, and extremely communicative. His crew refinished and stained all the red oak in our house. We put down new oak flooring in the kitchen and expected to be able to see the transition just because old wood is different from new wood but we can’t see it at all. My husband is a builder and our standards are high. Will use him again!

JG landscaped our whole backyard after a major addition to our house. They leveled the yard, got rid of debris, laid sod, put down pavers for a walk-way and patio, put river rock down, moved to small trees, put down mulch, and installed a underground down spout for our sump pump discharge. Came out right away to give us a quote, scheduled right away, came when they said they would, and were very professional. Would highly recommend.
