My father passed away after a sudden illness in January and my family and I were left shell-shocked. I was actually out of town when it happened. There were no plans or wishes in place and I took on the task of making the calls. I called 3 different funeral homes before after I called and spoke with Joe (who took my call on an off time because of time difference), I felt at ease with their services & quality of care. The day after I got back I went right to the funeral home and Shelly was compassionate and real. We discussed the best options for our finances and she (and Joe) were never ever pushy and took the time to listen to everything I said. They did not rush us on any aspect. They arranged everything with Edwards hospital and that alone was a huge relief for me. Shelly was with me every step of the way. I could not have gotten through this tragedy without her guidance. (If you are reading, thank you for that) It is also worth noting that they are completely independent and family owned. They do not price gouge. This was very important to me when searching. The other funeral homes I called felt like grief opportunists and the prices were reflective of that. Anyone reading this is probably suffering a major loss and trying to make a hard decision; I would highly recommend this family and funeral home for your services.
