Absolutely terrible. First they told me that they accept my insurance, then they say they don't and I need to pay out of pocket. Then they call me back and say they're cancelling my appointment and I have to go through the hassle of finding another Dr. When I could have done that 3 weeks ago. Thanks for delaying me on medication. I should have never followed my Doctor over. I'll 100% be staying at advocate.
I would give no stars if I could. I brought my 16 year old son here for a back injury. They took an X-ray, he was laying on his back during that x ray. We were told there was nothing wrong. That what they were seeing in the X-ray was gas and no fractures. I left assuming the radiologist reading was correct and took him to a chiropractor for help. He continued to do his normal activities, with excruciating pain, p.e. Class, basketball, etc. After no relief with the chiropractor and steroids given to him from urgent care, we were able to get into his pediatric orthopedic dr. They did another X-ray, this time he laid on his side. Clear as day in the X-ray was a stress fracture of his vertebrae. Everything he continued to do for a month after visiting this urgent care likely caused more damage. Now we have a new course of care pending the results of an mri to determine if he will need a back brace, PT, surgery. 6 weeks to 6 months of recovery. Had I known sooner, after the urgent care visit, we would've received the proper care much sooner.
A women came in claiming she had covid. After she left the staff did not take any action to that. Did not disinfect anything that she had touched. So i took matters into my own hands and got some tissue and hand sanitizer and whipped down the door knobs.
