“As my father aged his main goal was to remain in his home as long as possible. In order to help satisfy his request we knew it was time for 24/7 in-home help. We reached out to Touching Hearts and met with John. John assured us that they would be partners in the process and that he would find the best possible match for us. I found that to be spot-on If the match did not fit or we had other concerns he would find a suitable replacement. Over the course of 2 years we did request a few changes. John provided an immediate response and a new caregiver was provided. In the time we worked with Touching Hearts we were never left uncovered if one of the caregivers was ill or had a conflict. Communication was quick and the replacement provided. We reached a point where staying in the home was no longer possible but the transition provided by Touching Hearts provided us with the opportunity keep our dad in his house a few more years. John, Jeff and Sharon are extremely approachable and invested in their clients.“

“We had the best experience possible with Ascent Home Care and their care-takers. My Father-In-Law was in a nursing home and it was time for him to come home with hospice. The Dr's gave him 7-10 days to live. He lived for more than 2 months with excellent care from Ascent. Our caretaker, Ariel, was an amazing angel that gave my dear Father-In-Law respect, comfort and friendship. He bathed and fed him and gave him massages. He fit right in with our family. “10/10 stars, Would recommend. I have been with them since February of ‘23 after 10 years of serving in a plethora of restaurants,and five years driving Uber/lyft. I was worried at first that the work wouldn’t agree with me, however this has become one of the few jobs I have had, where I actually look forward to the start of the work week, live in so Monday through Friday. I would literally get more stressed showing up to a 5-8 hour weekend restaurant serving shift, than I am currently when I show up on Monday morning, even knowing I won’t be home in my personal space until Saturday(120 hours@less stress than 8). If any part of you likes helping people, this job rocks and it will give you strength and energy it will NOT suck away your goodness. 10/10 stars would recommend.“

“I had left knee replacement on October 9, 2023. Giosi, registered nurse came to see me twice. She was very pleasant, showed me how to use the ice machine and educated me regarding my incision. Shaju, the PT, came to my home for 2 wks. He taught me what I needed to do on my own to help the rehab process. With each visit he encouraged me, educated me and after 2 wks I was able to handle just about everything on my own without my son's help. Thank you both. An agency I recommend.“

“I used Residential Home Health & Hospice, Lisle, for my wife, for the last 3-4 weeks of her life, and cannot commend their services more highly. Not only was the Nurse (Patricia) who came to the house gentle, patient, and caring, but also highly professional, informed, and decisive. Furthermore, I was most impressed at the prompt interactions between the visiting nurse and their in-house doctor, whose advice, decision-making and prescribing of medications was so prompt, and the medications delivered to the house within 3 hours. Between the Nurse and the Doctor, in collaboration, they made my wife's last days as painless, comfortable, and calm as could possibly be asked for - also answering her questions and my questions directly and in an informed manner. As her carer, at home, I sensed the back up of the Residential staff every step of the way, even in the middle of the night, and also their efficiency in contacting our chosen funeral home, and promptly issuing the death certificate. Highly recommend.“
