Within the hour of our first call to Thompson, a number of kind gentlemen arrived at our home, where Jim had passed. They treated our devastated family with compassion and consideration. Gently, they prepared Jim for his drive to Thompson Funeral Home, leaving our driveway as though they were in procession.

The following morning, our family met with Debbie. From the moment we entered, as Debbie stood to welcome us, we felt the warmth and comfort of our surroundings. While being very professional and knowledgeable, Debbie was also very kind and caring.

For the consideration of our friends and family, due to winter weather and travel concerns, there was a time lapse between Jim's death and his service. Questions on our part arose. Thus, we were in contact with Debbie's staff members, Donna and Annette, on several occasions. They too were kind and caring. No question or concern went unanswered, and they were answered promptly.

As the day of Jim's service neared, we asked for Debbie's advice on placement of the floral arrangement we had ordered. We followed Debbie's suggestions, and the chapel setting was perfect.
