Blessed that our immediate family has never dealt with making funeral arrangements until recently, so preparing for my dad’s passing, I didn’t know where to begin. I do believe however, there was guidance from above. The first (and only) call I made was to McMurrough Funeral Chapel and spoke with Paula. She was so kind in answering my questions and providing me with just enough information at that time. My brother and I met with Brian a few days later. When we lost my father, we decided to come to McMurrough and it was the best decision our family has made. We were treated kindly and cared for every step of the way. We felt that the ball was always in our court when it came time to any decisions. If there was something we were confused on or unsure of, the funeral director took their time to explain to us in a caring manner. I hope to have everyone in my life for a long time, but if there were to be another loss of life in the family we will be sure to return to McMurrough Funeral Chapel for their strong efforts and great help.
We had my mom’s funeral at McMurrough Funeral Chapel a year ago, and I can’t say enough good things about our experience. It was an incredibly difficult and unexpected loss, but Brian was so accommodating and empathetic throughout the entire process. He gave us several options without ever feeling salesy. It genuinely felt like he cared about our family.
When we struggled to make decisions, he offered thoughtful suggestions that helped make everything easier on us. He was extremely knowledgeable and went out of his way to streamline the process so we could focus on grieving and being together as a family.
